Volvo Repair: leak 1991 Volvo, rotor surface, power steering fluid

We just purchased a 1991 240 GL Volvo manual.  It has been leaking fluids from the car that is a light brown color.  It does not appear to be oil.  The breaks are squeaking and now on the dashboard the light with a green triangle and an upside down Y is showing up.  We have no manual so we do not know what this means.  Do you know?  Thanks.

the leak could be oil,transmission fluid or power steering fluid.the brake squeak could be bad brake pads(aftermarket squeak alot)or the rotor surface is glazed and need to be replaced.is this car canadian? the triangle sounds like the
lambda sond light which is for the emission system which may have a problem.
