Volvo Repair: 87 760 turbo little power, air flow sensor, turbo volvo

> My 1987 760 turbo volvo is lacking power. When I press the accelerator

Answer
Overheating and loss of power is either two problems or one. Don't know if it came on at same time. Make sure compression is good. Check all your turbo hoses to make sure there is not a leak somewhere. Watch your boost gauge to make sure it moves to indicate boost is coming on.

Also check your exhaust to make sure it is not clogged, this is done with back pressure checker tapped into exhaust pipe somewhere.

If everything checks out, you may have a bad air mass sensor, but check everything else first.
