Volvo Repair: 240 dl stalling under acceleration, mass air meter, vacuum leaks

Thanks so much for viewing my problem.
1986 240 dl 120,000 with no problems since used purchase.  It starts fine, idles fine, will go through (auto) gears easily. When put into drive (or reverse) it will "roll" on its own fine, I push on the gas and it immediatelly stalls. I am guessing mass air meter? Maybe fuel pump? Injectors? please help and thanks again for viewing my post.

Sounds like a possibility. Check to make sure there aren't any vacuum leaks.

A quick but not definite check on air mass is to see if symptom changes when the air mass is unplugged. Sometimes will rev a little easier, try this a few times.

I don't think fuel pump nor injectors.

Be sure all basics are covered.
