first find a better mechanic.I would check all the fuses in the fuse panel for signs of corossion and also there is a inline fuse attached to a small red wire that comes off the battery positive cable.the fuse will be near the power steering resevoir.I would replace this fuse and holder if it looks dirty they get dirty and have poor connection.if it still stalls I would replace the fuel pump relay which is behind the felt panel under the passenger side of the dashboard.
Hi Regis.   I replaced all the 8 amp fuses in the fuse panel and the fuel pump relay.  I checked the in-line fuse near the power steering resevoir, it's a 25 amp and didn't look too bad so I cleaned the contacts, but am reluctant to change the holder for fear of breaking it. I just test drove
it and the car stalled out on me after 20 minutes of neighborhood driving. Do you think I should get a new holder? It doesn't look bad. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Michele

Answer
First, sorry for late response.I am in SW Florida and if you do not know we were just hit by  Hurricane Charley Friday and I just got power 30 minutes ago.

I would replace the holder if it looks dirty or be sure the contacts have been cleaned very well.
