Volvo Repair: Mirror installation, volvo s80, 2000 volvo s80

Sorry, it's a 2000 Volvo S80 T6...

I understand the wires (thank you). Is there anything more I should know about the installation of the mirror?

Question -
I cracked the glass in my passenger side rear view mirror. I have a new one and want to install it myself. It is heated and everything remains operational.

Two questions:
1) The two wires that plug into the mirror do NOT seem to have a +/-. Do I simply slide these on to the mirror or is there a polarity that I need to worry about?

2) How the heck do I install such a thing. I have the small wire installed correct however I cannot figure out how to snap the mirror back in place? Should I simply have Volvo install it (they want $50) or can I do this myself?

the wires can go on either way.you did not mention a year or model some have a slide you need to turn from a slot on the under side of the mirror this type has a white piece the mirror connects to.the other type just snaps into place this will be black where it attaches.

this mirror will just snap on turn the part it attaches to so the side near the door is in all the way and the other side is out.then you will need to attches the side by the door forst then hold the backing part ith a finger or something then snap the toehr side on hard to expaling but not hard to do.
