Volvo Repair: Volvo 850 Turbo Ignition, volvo 850 turbo wagon, volvo 850

Question
I have had my '96 Volvo 850 Turbo wagon for 2-3 years.  Now has 92K.  Has always performed great.  Driven daily, city and highway. Put in plugs, air filter 4K ago.  Never a problem.  Now won't start.  Turns over fine, but seems to not fire at all.  Fuel pump?  Ignition system?  Is there a likely culprit and something I can check out?  Thanks, Bill

Answer
you would need to check for spark at the plugs and then check for fuel pressure to see which one is missing.if I had to guess on this year I would guess camshaft position sensor.without a scan tool you can not check for diagnostic trouble codes.this would be the first thing to do if you had access to a scan tool.
