Volvo Repair: 84 DL 240 Wagon Starting Problems, fuel pump relay, fuse panel

Question
Hello. I've had a frustrating problem with my 1984 DL 240 wagon. Yesterday it started fine and I drove to the end of the block and started to stop for a stop sign. Immediately my battery light flashed so I turned all my accessories off, radio and fan. The engine continued to come to a slow stop. When trying to restart the car it rotates but won't start. We tried jumping it, checked all fluids, all the belts are on, and all the sparks are attached and fairly new. I'm at a loss at what to do next.
Besides an electrical problem with the rear wiper a few months ago I've never had a problem. Please help, any insight is much appreciated. Thank you, Thank you.

Answer
first would be to check for spark to the plugs then check to see if there is fuel pressure to the injectors to see which one is missing fuel or spark then you will need to fault trace it from there.if no fuel then it could be a fuel pump relay or loose batter cable .also check the connections at the battery.especially the positive side.check that the fuses in the fuse panel are not corroded.
