Volvo Repair: Air Conditioning Noise, damper, coolant

Question
When using the air conditioning I hear a "click" or "tick" noise coming from the center of the dash at about 10-12 second intervals.  Is is in the form of a single "TICK' or "CLICK" repeated at the 10-12 second interval and continues as long as the AC is operating.  The sound is not made if the AC is not on (for exmpale when running the heater or just venting air with the fan).  I have had the AC coolant checked and it is full and the AC appears to be working fine and cooling adequately otherwise.  I thought it might be the compressor cycling on and off but that would seem much too frequent.  Thanks for your advice.

Answer
Hello,
There are damper motors on the place that you defined. And this noise is normal, when they start to work, you can hear a noise as "tick". These damper motors' job is to give the way to the air, for example to head, or to foot, to recirculation...
