Volvo Repair: Volvo 740 radio, volvo 740, fm signal

Question
For some reason, my radio loses FM signal. Sounds like a lose cable or contact. A slight "tap" on the side will sometimes bring the signal back. How do I remove the radio to see what's happening? I have a 1990 740.

sounds like the problem is in the radio.at each end of the front face plate is a small hole inside each hole is a tab.you will need to insert a small screwdriver into the hole and pry the tab inwards towards he radio while pulling the radio with your other hand.do this for each hole and it should come out.
