Volvo Repair: front end rattle, proper diagnosis, rubber bushing

Hi:

I have another question. I have this clunking sound that is coming from the passenger side front end everytime I drive over a bump. It sounds like the front end is coming off. I recently replaced the struts at Sears. I have spoken to my mechanic who says all looks fine. Do you think it may be a shock or spring rubber bushing?

it could be the strut retaining nut is loose.or possible the strut does not fit properly into the strut housing.it could also be a bad ball joint or bad bushing of some kind.it will really need to be looked at for a proper diagnosis.I would have another mechanic look at it.
