Volvo Repair: SAR light indicator, light indicator, minor accident

Question
I just had a minor accident and my airbag deployed. I do not intend to
replace the airbag, however, the inidcator lamp SAR is showing everytime
the engine is running. I know this indicate that there is safety
malfunction, due to not having the airbag anymore. How can I shut this
lamp off, permanently.
May car is 740 Sedan 1991 model

remove the bulb,put tape on the instrument cluster glass to cover the light,drill a hole through the front of the clust straight through the bulb to break it.these are the options you could use since there is no way to turn it off with out fixing the fault.
