Volvo Repair: volvo fuel related problem, fuel pump relay, fuel pumps

Question
I have a 88 240 DL wagon. Starts sometimes. Sometimes it doesn't. I
replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter as well. I went to a dealer and asked
for the fuel pump relay. He gave me this white box relay, told me it
was located under the passenger glove compartment box. I replaced it,
still have problems. Could it be a FUEL SYSTEM RELAY? And where is that
located in a 88 240 DL wagon?

Answer
this is the only relay in the fuel system.I would check the fuses or corossion and the fuse under the hood near the battery.this fuse by the battery is for the fuel pumps and if it looks dirty or corroded I would replace the fuse and the holder it goes into.
