Volvo Repair: how good is this year and model, turbo wagon, fuel injection

i am looking at purchasing my first volvo and i need to know how good/bad this model is. 1994 850 turbo wagon with 152k . i've heard this engine is not the best. they are asking 6000 for the car, which looks great. any information is greatly appreciated. thanks.

the engines are fine on that car. they have not changed that engine except for some fuel injection stuff all the way to the present. the only thing i would be concerned about is transmissions 93 were kinda bad. 94 mostly worked the problems out. if it has that many miles it should be ok
