How do I program my new remote on my S80.

Hello,
It is IMPOSSIBLE that to be programmed it by you.
Because, these type high-tech cars have a lot control units. And for remote control the control unit is Upper Electronic Module integrated into the rear view mirror. It is programmed only by using a computer (VADIS Volvo Aftersales Diagnostic Information System). There are two codes called as Long and short codes. They are programmed into the UEM. And it is only possible in an authorised dealer.
