Volvo Repair: PCV system, oil filler cap, vacuum ports

Question
My 1987 Volvo turbo 740 wagon is spitting oil out of the oil filler cap. Is this a pcv system problem? How can it be fixed?

Also, if this is going to be a continuing problem, what is the availability of rebuilt Volvo engines or rebuild kits?

Thanks.

Answer
I would replace the flame trap and clean all vacuum lines and vacuum ports the flame trap system connects to.this is like a pcv system.under the intake near intake runners for cylinders 3 and 4 there is a box on the box is a plastic y piece with a lrge hose and vacuum hose on it.remove this plastic piece inside it is the flame trap replace the flame trap and be sure all hoses and vacuum ports on the plastic piece or on the intake manifold are not clogged.
