Volvo Repair: fault finding help, carbuerators, volvo 240dl

Question
dear sir
i was wondering if you could help me, i own a 1985 volvo 240dl with a b200k engine with solex cisak carb and volvo/chrysler electronic ignition, and im having great dificulty diognosing a problem. the car cuts out when driving but as of today not when reving on the drive. i have changed the carb, fuel pump, fuel fillter, fuel lines, fuel cut off valve, distributor, distributor cap, plugs, leads, ignition amplifier, coil, air filter, vacume pipe and inlet gasket i've also checked all wiring and ignition switch. and yet the car will still cut out when driving around the block, theres always a spark and theres always fuel at the carb. if you hold the revs at 3000rpm it will splutter befor droping revs, but today i tried another coil and another distributor cap and it will now hold revs hapily but will still cut out when driving. do you have any ideas, any help would be greatly apreciated, thank you for your time

Answer
this car is alittle out of my area.the US cars lost their carbuerators back in the 60's so I am not familiar with them.I would check that the wiring harness is not loosing its insulation and shorting out wires.also check the fuses in th fuse panel for corossion
