BMW: A/C Light, blown fuse, c button

Question
1989 325 2 door, A/C changed over to accept new coolant.   Working fine yesterday, today light will not come on at a/c button and no cold air.  Before I take it down to the dealership for repair, any chance this is something simple like a fuse or relay?  Thanks in advance.

Answer
Garret,
Since you just had the A/C charged, and the light is not working, I would assume that the problem is in the switch.  It could be a fuse blown as well.  Check the fuse to see if it's blown, and if it is, then replace it and try again.  If it blows again, then you have a short somewhere.
You can test to see if you are getting power at the switch, and if that's the case, then you have a blown fuse and a problem in the wiring.

 Hope this helps,
 Josh
