Dash board rattles.dealer has been un succesful in eliminating rattle.rattle goes away when you grip steering. wheel and push it in an upwards direction.

There are lots of things in the dash that can rattle. I have fixed alot of rattles around the area that you are talking about by removing the instrument cluster form the dash and lining it with a special teflon tape. The dealership you are dealing with should know how to fix this.
