Followup To there are three (boxes) in the front right of the car under the hood. At first he said I needed all new. When I got tears in my eyes from being upset at just spending over $500, he said, well maybe just one is ok to change. Then the mechanic that worked on my car looked over at me and bowed his head and shook is head as if disgust (as if he knew the manager had done something intentional to the car) The manager was very young maybe 21 and was doing this to people ahead of me in line that day when I was trying to pay. He said this job would be another $600 and I just didn't have it, but needed my car to get to work. So, not knowing the truth, I went to NAPA and got the parts and asked a mechanic at a different place put them on. It still did it and another mechanic found that a plug was intentionally pulled and not only pulled, but tied back so as not to cause sparks. That is about all I can tell you. Thank you so much. I am homeless and in my car right now and have to get this car running so I can find work to find a place to live. I was afraid driving it is making it worse. If I can get it running smoother I will drive it farther to family to live temporarily.
Question -
mechanics are breaking me...have broken me....on these repairs on my car and I think the problem is in the struts or tie rods....when I get the car up to 50mph it vibrates horribly.....if I let off the gas it stops temporarily.....almost sounds like it is "skipping rope"

REPAIRS: HAD THE CAR TO FIRESTONE FOR RADIATOR PROBLEM...DROVE OUT WITH THIS PROBLEM ...RETURNED CAR IMMEDIATELY...THEY SAID "OH, FORGOT TO TELL YOU YOU NEED MORE WORK" DID NOT RUN LIKE THIS BEFORE THEY REPAIRED DAY BEFORE
TOOK TO ANOTHER MECHANIC HE SAID A PLUG WAS INTENTIONALLY PULLED OUT...HE PUT IT BACK IN, BUT STILL HAVE THIS HESITATION AND VIBRATION...HE THEN REPLACED BERRINGS AND PAD ON LEFT WHEEL....AN OBVIOUS NOICE WHEN TURNING WHEELS NOW..BUT NOT ALL THE TIME...AM SCARED TO BRING TO MECHANIC NOW, PLUS THEY HAVE GOTTEN ALL OF MY MONEY....PLEASE HELP I CRY THANKS, KARYN

Could be a tie rod but not a strut.
What did they tell you that you needed at Firestone?
AnswerI'm sorry, but I cant tell you what is wrong with your car without some diagnostic testing. But I might be able to do something about the manager of the Firestone store that you went to. I know some of the higher up managers for Firestone and I'm sure they will want to know about this.
