Cadillac: Starter, kick in the butt, cadillac seville

Where would the strater be on a 1995 Cadillac Seville STS be located?  Reason for my question is because my car wouldn't turn on today.  I just got a new alternator put in and a new ignition with the security sensor put in also.  It sounded like it wanted to turn on but didn't.  I was told that hittng the starter would wake it up.

A good kick in the butt will also wake anyone up. If you have the 4.6L engine the starter is under the big aluminum cover on top of the engine with the Cadillac emblem on it. Remove this large cover and you will see your starter at the back of the engine.
