Cadillac: 92 cadillac eldorado, cadillac eldorado, stomp on

Question
QUESTION: i'm havin trouble with a rough idle, an it slightly holds back when driving. also when i start the car, it quickly fires with no hesitation but dies just as fast, it normally takes about 3-5 taps of the key an a good stomp on the gas peddle to keep it alive, before it will stay running, but once its running it never stalls back out only has that hold back i said about an when i stop at a light with it in gear idiels rough an makes the car kinda bounce back an forth oddly. so far i put on a new muffler, fuel filter, plugs an wires, cap an roter, battery,an just aswell a fresh oil change. i'm guessing its some sort of sensor? no check engine light is on. i am also unsure how to clear my codes so i can see which ones come back?

QUESTION: NO STILL SAME TROUBLE, mainly whats its doing is stalling out within a sec after i start it. it may do it 2-4 times in a row. but once it stays running after i start it, NEVER stalls out just runs a little ruff. also i think i may have noticed a slight gas odor from time to time like it may be flooding a little. have tried anything else new yet to try an fix, just doubled checked over everything ta make sure is connected an hooked up the way it should be. also noticed a slight power surge such as when i come to a stop an put it in reverse to to back into a parking space ect.. in addition i dont think it ever seems to actulely miss fire such as when go up hills ect..
