Cadillac: Heater and lighting problems, cadillac brougham, lt1 motor

Question
Hi Tom,

Just purchased a 1994 Cadillac Brougham 5.7L LT1 motor.  Only has 130 Km...

1) The heater does not blow hot air, even when set to maximum (32 degrees).  Took it for a drive to see if the heat would come out then, but still no luck.  Also, the air does not come out from the front face vents when put to 32 degrees, however, the A.C. functions perfectly on all vents.  Any idea what it can be?  Don't want to get raped by the mechanic.

2)  The interior lights will not come off, so I pulled the fuse located by the driver side fuse box.  I am hoping it is a minor fix?  Please advise.

Thanks for your time.

Answer
Most likely a problem with the AC-HEATER PROGRAMMER of which you will need PICTURES and diagnostic procedures. You will need to contact me at: onlineautohelp@msn.com

Sounds like the illuminated entry timer is faulty. You will need pictures of where it is located when you contact me per above.
