Questionthe sentence should read: I can hear a sound as if it has clicked(turned) on.In other words I can hear it come on,and it does come on, but it won't always blow constant air.

I have a 1995 Sedan Deville. The problem I have with my air conditioner is,I can hear it make a sound las if it has clicked on, and it may come on a blow, the seconds later it stops, then it comes back on again this may go on two or three times depending on how long the drive is and the finally it comes on stays on and blows cool. But when I stop and turn it off the on off cycle repeats again. Can you tell me what the problem could posibbly be, and is it repairable at home.

AnswerWhat your telling me is:
Something makes a clicking noise and then the interior fan blower starts to blow air out the center vents at different speeds and then it stops blowing air out the vents then you hear this clicking noise a couple of times more and the fan comes on and stays on, CORRECT ?.
