Cadillac: cadillac1997, ac works, vacuum pump

on number 3 or 5 on the ac relay if i ground it out the ac works but the dash says the compessor off and low on refridgent have u ever run on some thing like this o i put new compessor and orface and dryer thanks

Did you use a vacuum pump to evacuate all the air from the a/c system BEFORE you recharged it using the correct amount of refrigerant oil and freon ?.

Did you make sure that there are NO CODES in the computer ?.

Try disconnecting the battery for two minutes and see if the a/c works.
