Cadillac: 92 Cadillac Sedan Deville Anti-theft system, cadillac sedan deville, giving me the blues

How's everything Mr.Joy? I have a problem maybe you can help me with. My 1992 Cadillac Sedan Deville has been giving me the blues. Sometimes when I go to start it up the Anti-Theft system activate and the car want start. I wait 3 to 5 minutes and it starts up and run fine after a few hours it might do it again or not at all for a few days. It has 230,000 miles but runs good this is the only major problem. If you will please let me know what you think. I would like to bypass it if I could. (THANKS FOR YOUR TIME) Rodney

Unfortunately I cannot tell you how to by-pass the anti-theft system. Since there are numerous possibilities that can trigger this theft system it is impossible for me to list all the possibilities and test procedures required to fix your problem. You only resolution is to see your local dealer.
