Cadillac: 86 devilles stuck front doors, latch assembly, auto repair facilities

Hello :-)
I recently purchased an 86 Deville from an auction and unfortunately wasn't aware that the front doors are stuck shut.  The locks are in the unlocked position but the doors won't open.  Why is this?  Is there a way to get them open without having the doors cut off?
Please help!

most likely the linkages have come off of the latch assembly either thru someone trying to unlock the doors using a coat hanger in order to open the doors.

There is a simple way to trip the latch using a specialty tool and then once the door is open, you can remove the inside door panel and reattach the linkages.

Most auto repair facilities or automotive lock service companies can open the doors for you.
