Cadillac: Cadillac Eldorado 2000 Engine just stops, cadillac eldorado, gm cars

I have a 2000 Cadillac Eldorado 43K Miles. Runs fine except that occasionally the engine will just stop while driving, for no apparent reason. It seems to occur at speeds of 40-60 mph. No hard acceleration. It will restart without problem. There have been questions about clogged fuel injectors on GM cars in our area. Is there any connection? Any suggestions?

The FIRST thing you are going to have to determine is if your problem is FUEL related and or no ignition to the SPARK PLUGS. Once this is established, Then we can proceed with further diagnostics.

What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made.
