Cadillac: 1995 eldorado etc throttle cable clicking., e mail address, throttle cables

Hello Tom:
I have a 95 eldorado etc, when i shut the engine off you can hear a clicking sound from under the hood and the gas pedal is moving with the click.
i looked under the hood and there are two cables which i assume are throttle cables and i can see the inside one is clicking back and forth. will do this for 10 to 15 seconds then stop.  What is causing this and how can i repair it?
