Chevrolet: Steering, trouble at home, steering column

Question
I bottomed out pretty badly over a curb in my 01' cavalier and now when I go above 70 I get a lot of vibration in the wheel.. no weird sounds or anything...just the odd shaking at higher speeds. Its not a real threat or problem because it does not affect my control of the car, I'm just wondering if my steering column could be messed up and if theres no real problem other than an annoyance at high speeds and it doesn't get worse, should I spend the money to fix it?

Answer
Jeff;sorry for taking so long trouble at home- If the box looks good and no leaks or cracks than it might just be that you bent a rim or  threw it out of alignment. I would first have the front wheels spun balanced. if you still have it than get it aligned
