Chevrolet: 1997 Blazer, engine overhaul, rotor

Well the question I have is pertaining to a timing issue. We found TDC after an engine overhaul. We have also found that the computer is adjusting the timing after cranking the engine. How can we fix the problem at hand? We aren't sure what is going on?

hi well I hope that you put the distributor back in right- you must pop the no#1 plug so it will go to TDC than remove the dist. cap and the rotor must be on the no#1 plug spot on the cap if not -the dist is in wrong and it will never start.  check it
