Chevrolet: fuel pump relay getting hot, 2001 camaro ss, fuel pump relay

i have a 2001 camaro ss my fuel pump relay keeps getting hot even enough to get my ac relay hot also.problems starting and ac cutting off and on.whats causing relays to get hot or go bad?normal?

 He - well I would put a OBDII meter on it to see if any codes come up at all, there could be a short or too much of a load on it or it might be working to hard, do you have a p.s.i. regulator on it. you could be pushing out way to much fuel. check the fuel pressure.
