Chevrolet: Hesitation during accelertion, throttle position sensor, crank sensor

Question
QUESTION: 1999 5spd v6  bogges down/ hesitates during acceleration when WOT especially when gunning it as rpms drop. changes plugs, wires and checked coilpacks, fuel filter is new, checked fuel pressure and that was fine, ran genises code detector and found no problems,
Rpms rev out fine in nuetral
bogges down the same regardless of being cold or warmed up
I'm thinking EGR valve, MAF sensor, Crank sensor, or Cam sensor any input would be appreciated!
ANSWER: Could be the throttle position sensor.

Did you check the fuel psi when the hesitation is occurring?

Did you measure the resistance of all of the ignition coils? Can you borrow a new 3 pack from someone?

QUESTION: The tps sensor is not replacable in the electronic tsp models unless you buy the whole throttle body, one code that did pop up earlier that doesnt show now is the Throttle Actuator? I think its the sensor that senses the pedals movement and sends the signal to the Throttle body? thats just my guess? I took off each coil pack and tested the resitance of each and it was normal according to the hanes manual on both the primary and secondary.. How do you test the fuel psi while the hesitation occures? The hesitation does not happen in nuetral only in gear under load, is there a way of monitoring the psi while driving? thanks alot for the input

Answer
Well the throttle body actuator was the throttle position sensor on your car so your guess was right.

You can measure the fuel psi while driving by taping the fuel psi guage to your windshield. Or you could drive around with a midget under your hood watching your guage. Your choice.
