Chevrolet: Geo Prizm 95 Broken Belts, geo prizm, powersteering

Question
My 95 Geo prizm's belts broke driving home from work and I lost power streering along with the battery light being on.  When I arrived home shortly after, the coolant was boiling.  I found 2 belts ripped to shreds shortly after.  Is is feesable for someone with little skill w/ automotive to replace the belts himself. How should I go about it.  I think there might of been 3 belts (Alternator, powersteering, and ? possiable something to do with coolant or a fan seeing that the coolant was boiling)

Answer
Curtis-Hi when you drove home was the car running ok.?  if the main serpentine belt breaks you are in trouble- as the engine has to be all re set up and all pulleys must be set up. but if you were still running than you should be fine. you will just need a socket set and some wrenches. replace the fan belt, loosen up the alternator and the bracket than put the new belt on. snug it up. than do the same with the power steering loosen the bracket and remember do not put any pressure on any of the hoses or the power tubing hoses as they will bend on you than it will cost you $$the coolant was boiling over as you had no fan working to cool it down.
