Chevrolet: whats the difference, aluminum intake, chevy 350

I know that you said that you only know up to 75 but do you have any idea what the difference is between the 1970's and the early 1980' chevy 350 is because I am trying to buy a '84 camaro off a classmate in my auto shop and cant find a motor for it, can you help, Thanks.

HI well  it is about the same as far as the block goes, but  it can have some smog and omission items in different places and senors also. but a 350 is a 350   ok
you should get a crate 327 to put in it.with the fuely heads with the 202.intake valves with a aluminum intake , big holley and headers , etc.
