Chevrolet: 2001 cavalier wont start, chevy dealership, car ignition

Question
Roger,
my daughter owns a 2001 cavalier and yesterday it just would not start. It has plenty of battery power and has gas. when it is turned over it cranks over but gives no indication at all that it is trying to fire up. I am no mechanic and I would describe the problem as it is getting no gas or that there is no spark at all. Short of having it towed to a repair shop is there anything that I can do to determine the problem and solve it myself? I hope that you have seen this before. As a side note the car ignition was recently repaired by a chevy dealership.

thank you,
john

Answer
John;
HI well I wish it was that easy , but you said it was just worked on at a dealer, That is the first thing I would do is tell them to fix it right, or have a obd2 meter put on to see what codes pop up. I would not touch anything else as it could be the ignition again ... ok
