Chevrolet: 97 cavalier gas fumes, gas fumes, gas cap

Hello. I am smelling gas fumes in and outside of the car. I can not park in the garage over night because the smell is over powering. I bought a new gas cap that fits tighter and it is not helping. The gas smell is strongest at the front of the car. Where do you think I should start.

Hea- Well it sounds as if you have a leak some place, it must be a small one as you do not see any gas on the ground, first off this is super DANGEROUS !! I would look at it or have it checked out now or you will have a fire or  you could go BOOM !!!
