Chevrolet: 327 performance, gas mileage, fuel inj

Question
the headers going on are hedman ceramic coated 15/8. the gear is only a 307 but it's a stick car. what size head do you recomend?? and brand?

I have a 327 60 over and 11 1/2 to 1 comprssion. I have a solid roller 250 250 550 550 cam. 1.6 rockers and 461x heads with a tpi set up. I am going with a lt1 manifold f.i. How can I get 500 horse out of this? I am looking at the new afr eliminator heads 195cc. Can you help me optain my goal?? Thanks in advance...

Hea- you forgot to mention headders, if you do not have them- get some and with what you have you should be close to the 500 mark,and the heads,and if you put in a street nitrous  set up look out.what you have for gears in the rear? if you put in a blower or fuel inj.  wow.

Sal; Hi well if it were mine I would try to find some alum.  type heads with the fuely 202. intake valves with some good valve springs . inner and outer. type. you have good heads for street use  but I do not know if they are as large intakes like the 202.s and your gears are great for the gas mileage and you can cruse at 60 easy. but it will lack on the take off. if you were to change them I would not go more than 4.11s
