Chevrolet: 1993 Caprice Classic LTZ 5.7 Litre, caprice classic, ltz

26,000 actual miles. Two weeks ago I stopped at a red light;steering turned very slightly left. As I began to roll very slowly, I heard & felt a "clunking" noise,almost like a flat tire.
I completed my turn and straightened the wheel...the noise stopped.
This has continued. Only at very low speed, and only when the wheel is turned very slightly in either direction.
The noise seems to be coming from the rear of the vehicle.
This is a very strong "clunk".

HI It sounds like it might be in the drive train  it could just be the bearings or  -joints or it could be the tranny , etc. it has to be put on a lift and checked out ,and by the noise you say it is making I would have it checked out ASAP. to save you from a serious break down and tow or a blown tranny or motor. ok
