Chevrolet: Camaro Coolant Leak, coolant leak, chevrolet camaro

Question
I own a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro 3.4 V-6 automatic... I bought this car used at 158 thousand miles and noticed that the car sometimes overheated... I later realized that the Radiator fan was not functioning... I had that replaced, but recently i have developed a coolant leak... The water seems to be dripping from the actual Engine... If you look through the block in one of the holes it has, you can see where its coming from... Its kind of the middle of the engine in the front, and it does lose the water rather quickly(a drop a second)... I am putting water in it for now... Do you think i may have to replace the engine, or could it be a possible head gasket issue?? Sorry for the length of this question but i really dont have alot of money to fix something as big as replacing an engine...

Answer
Open the oil cap or remove the valve cover and check for white sludge. White sludge would indicate coolant in the oil. Do you see white smoke or smell coolant from the exhaust? This would indicate a bad head gasket.

If you see coolant dripping from the engine, this is serious. Probably coming from the heads unless the block is cracked. See how far up the black is wet. Is it dry above the heads but wet below them? Then its the head gasket and possibly warped heads.
