Chevrolet: low coolant sensor, radiator cap, coolant

Question
Hello to all, I have a 1995 Z28, the recently had a leak in the hose which I belive goes to the heater. the damage was not to bad, the hose had a slight gash near the clamp. the repair was easy. after that is when the problem has occurred, it seems when I drive my care after about 30-45 minutes in traffic the low coolant light goes on, I checked under the car to check for leaks but have not found any, I have opened the radiator cap(when cold) and the coolant is topped off. I went ahead and changed the thermostat and the problem persists. the car did over heat when the hose went bad, I turned off the car and let it get completely cold before moving to my house. I was wondering if it might have to do with the computer??? or the sensor??? please help, that light drives me nuts when it turns on!!!!!!

Answer
The sensor would only be bad if it was on all the time. my guess is that you have air trapped in the system. Top up your overflow tank. When the low coolant light comes on, turn off the car immediately and top up the overflow tank again or add it straight to the rad if the car is cold.

Do you know how to bleed the system using the bleeder screws on the hoses near the front?
