Chevrolet: Overheating, air bubble, coolant

Question
I Have a 1994 Camaro LT1. I just changed the water pump and now I overheat going down the highway but it quickly drops to around 200 degrees F when I idle. It's like I have an air bubble in the system.. How do I bleed this system to get the air out. Or is it even an air bubble..

Answer
Does your low coolant light come on?

There are two bleeder screws at the front of the engine. One is on the pipe going to the thermostat. The other is on a pipe to the left. Open them both and start the car. When a constant stream of coolant starts coming out of it and stops sputtering.

If the low coolant light comes on while you're driving, stop, turn off the car, and fill the reservoir with more coolant.
