Chevrolet: a/c in camaro just blows out gas., chevy camaro, car parts store

Question
My 94 chevy camaro's a/c wont blow out any cold air when i turn it on. Also when i turn it on, it sounds like a gas leak or something is coming out. I dont know what the problem is. Is there a way i can fix it for a low cost or do i just have to buy a new a/c?

   Hi  if you do not get cold air you might need some gas recharge in the system. and if you say it sounds like a gas leak than there is something wrong in the system and it must be checked out. I would look for a shop that has a special on A/C recharging at apx. 29.95 so  even if it is more than just the gas you will have a idea of what is wrong with it. or you could go to a car parts store , strauss or napa,etc. and get a recharge kit and do it yourself and see if it works. ok
