Chevrolet: 202 heads, valve seals, titanium springs

Question
I have a 350 bored 60 over and i rebuildt it from the ground up. With the stock heads on it, it didnt smoke or run too bad. I bought a pair of 202 fuely heads from my teacher who had them rebuilt with the stainless steal vavles, titanium springs and the roller rockers. After i put them on and broke them in a little i started to knowace i was blowing smoke out the back only at higher rpm with the pedal to the floor. Other wize its fine. Can you give me an idea what could be going on? Some say i need umbrella vavle seals, other say its rings. i dont know. thank you.

Answer
Matt ;
Hea- ok you got something there it sounds good, well the smoke could be the valve seals , is it white and does it linger ?  or it could just be un-burnt fuel . I would try some differnt plugs, see if it helps. also you might try to re-adj. the carb. (lean) also adv. the timeing a lil bit.
what cam do you have in it. hyd. or solids. if hyd. re-adj. them. loosen till they clack than go back in till it stops than 1/2 to 3/4 more.  no tighter. and if solids try to re adj. them, as solids do loosen up fast.I hope you are not over reving the rpms. with it. do not push it as it can rev. but you might blow something.  I would not go above 6,500
redline. no need for it.ok.  and  keep a eye on the oil psi.  use good oil. OK
