Chevrolet: 01 Impala stalling, obdii, police package

My 01 Impala has started stalling while driving, like someone turns the key off. No sputter, hesitation beforehand, although I have noticed some hesitation at other times. It's very dangerous, as I drive on the expressway often.

The car is a V6 3.8L with a police package, 120,000 miles. We have had the BCM replaced, along with some rewiring ($1000 worth!). My husband replaced the fuel filter. There isn't any reading on the OBDII. Any ideas?

  HI - I wonder is the meter you used working right ? I would first change the gas that you use and add some dry gas and add a can of fuel system cleaner. You say there is no reading with the OBDII so I would first try to clean the fuel system out see if it helps. and how is the air filter ?
