Chevrolet: serpinten belt, pullys, timeing

how in hell do you losen the damn power stering pump to take that belt off to be able to get to the serpinten belt?

Hi there are bolts that hold it in place  , you have to loosen the bolts on the pump to move it.
there is the tension arm , if you put a bar on it than with the tension off the pullys the belt should come off, remember do not try to start or turn the engine over when the belt is off , you will end up with big troubles , so put the new belt on the same way you took the old one off.if not you will throw the timeing off...
