Chevrolet: 1973 Camaro Intermittent Hard to Start, turn signal switch, shift linkage

Question
The Shifter is a new B&M Quick Silver shifter. Could it be the nuetral safetly switch is worn? I was going to change that next since I also have to change the turn signal switch unit which is in the steering column along with the n/s switch. What do you think?

Question -
Sometimes my 1973 camaro is very hard to start. The engine will not turn over at all as though it was in gear. I shift it out of park then back into park and sometimes wiggle the steering aroung a bit an usually I can get it to work. What do I have to adjust to fix this problem? Is the adustment in the steering column or Shifter area? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi  I would first try    and check the bushings in the shift linkage , if they are bad replace them first w/o adj. anything as that might just fix it for you .   ok >>>>>

Hea - If you have a new B&M tranny , it can B that alone as the tranny is a bit hard to shift in the first place , I would get a nice floor shift set up , that would take care of the hole deal... I do not think the nut/saf  switch would do any thing to the shifting..
