Chevrolet: power window and rear window defogger, lumina van, hot wire

hi i have two questions first 1990 lumina van power window drvers side works fine passenger window goes down and not up, same for switches on both drivers and passenger sides. power motor works when connected to drivers side up and down.

second question 1997 cavilier rear window defogger will not work

 HI - > I would first get some spray starting fluid and try to clean the switches out good so they can make contact.
do not smoke or do not turn the switch on and off when spraying it could get on fire. If the motors are working than the switches must be bad or dirty.
And as far as the defogger , have you looked at the fuse , if it is good than I would try to hot wire it ,and if it still dos'nt work than it is burnt out.  >> OK
