Chevrolet: Engine lock-up, 1995 chevy lumina, rebuilt chevy motors

well i added oil but i think it was too late and my check oil gauge never came on at all. What is a general price range to have it re built?

Hi! My name's Joey, and yesterday, after parking, my 1995 chevy lumina would'nt start. after listening to the problem (when key turned over, the engine made a squeaking sound), my dad said that the engine was locked up. is there any way of fixing this?

 HI  ; WELL WHEN YOU SAY LOCKED UP - IS IT SEASED  DUE TO NO OIL ?
AND IF YES - THAN YOU WOULD HAVE TO RE-BUILD IT.

    HI  well as far as the motor , you can find a bunch of places on the web. that sell them also larger ones. the price range for a motor is about 1,500.00  and up plus labor. you can get a turn key motor - ready to go . try a serch with .(rebuilt chevy motors)you might find a place close to you.
