Chevrolet: 1992 cavalier, head gasket, chevy cavalier

I have A 1992 Chevy Cavalier, that stalls when putting it in drive or reverse. We changed the fuel pump and filter on the car. Also, cleared out the fuel lines going to the motor. The head gasket was recently changed and have still have the same problem. i was wondering if it could be a sensor that could be cuasing the problem. It is like the car is choking itself out.I changed the MAP sensor and still the same have the car stalling and choking.

   was  the car ever put on a computer to see what comes up. It could be a lot of things as there are a bunch of sensors. I would have it checked out on a computer to see what codes come out. If you keep changing parts - that will cost you for things that you do not need. ok
