Chevrolet: 2002 Chevy Tahoe, chevy tahoe, new tank

I own a 2002 chevy tahoe, with about 70,000 miles. When the gas tank reaches 1/4 tank full, it will not start. It takes moving the truck, by pushing or pulling it a distance. And then it still takes all kinds of tricks to finally get it started.

  I would think that there might be something wrong with the float or the gas intake in the gas tank- it is not getting the fuel at that level or it is sucking shut on you. and did you change the fuel filter, also I would have the fuel line cleaned - flushed and see if that will help you, at 70,000 it is time , I have a 1999 silverado and I did not do it and I ended up putting in a new tank ! .
